The Police Orientation and Preparation Program (POPP) is a one-of-a-kind educational experience that places career-bound law enforcement students in an established LAPD training environment. The program prepares students for the moral, ethical, and physical standards required by the LAPD and includes a rigorous, two-year college curriculum that enables high school seniors and college freshman to obtain an Associate's degree and/or transfer to a four-year university before applying to the LAPD.
